Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP)
VQRP+ provides victims of violent crime in the province of Ontario who require immediate assistance that cannot be obtained through other sources.
- Attempt to commit murder
- Child abuse
- Criminal harassment
- Elder abuse
- Hate crime
- Historical child sexual abuse (eligible for counseling or traditional Indigenous health related services only)
- Homicide
- Human trafficking
- Intimate partner violence
- Non-consensual distribution of intimate images
- Sexual assault
- Serious assault
- Voyeurism
Program objectives:
- Provide assistance to the victims in the immediate aftermath of a violent crime
- Lessen the impact of violent crime through immediate support services
- Increase the immediate safety of victims.

- Home safety expenses (including cellular phones)
- Accommodation
- Travel and transportation
- Basic necessities
- Meals and groceries
- Emergency dependent and pet care
- Eyeglasses and exams
- Dental
- Aids for victims/recipients with disabilities
- Interpretation services
- Government and medical documents
- Crime scene clean-up
- Counseling services, traditional indigenous health services and associated transportation
- Serious injury supports
- Funeral expenses
- Homicide survivor support

- Tattoo removal or cover up
- Storage locker rental
